What’s the process?
We do the work as a company to find your babysitter, so you don’t have to. We handle all the vetting and interviewing to ensure you get someone experienced and trustworthy. This way, you can have peace of mind knowing your children are in wonderful hands. All sitters are hand-selected by Sydney and Halee. No robots here.
Step 1
Register your family and fill out the intake form
Register your family and complete the intake form. Friend to Friend differentiates itself from other platforms by implementing a well thought through process to match families with the most suitable babysitter. When you join us, we take the time to thoroughly review your profile information and intake form. This ensures we can make a perfect match before proceeding. The $50 registration fee is required to book babysitters and is non-refundable. After you register, you will get an email with a password to our request page. THE F2F WILL REACH OUT IN 24-48 HOURS AFTER PAYMENT
Step 2
The F2F team will look over your intake form, and create a list of ideal candidates from our roster
Our matching process for each family considers the number of children, their ages, location, and any specific concerns noted in the intake form. We then match you with a babysitter who has the perfect experience and ability to care for your little ones. If you have any hesitations or concerns feel free to connect with us and we can schedule a call.
Step 3
Go to our request page and use the password given to you on the welcome email
It's finally time…..you get to make a request! The password to our request page is included in the welcome email sent 24-48 hours after you register. Each time you request there will be a $25 fee, which covers any cancellations or illnesses of your matched babysitter. We have a 3-hour minimum for requests to ensure our babysitters are there for a meaningful duration. Please make your requests at least 7 days in advance. While you can request with less notice, we cannot guarantee we will be able to find a sitter. As always, feel free to reach out with questions under the Contact Us.
Step 4
Sit back and know you’re in good hands!
Now it's our turn! The Friend to Friend team will reach out to your perfect match. Once the babysitter is confirmed, we'll send over their profile for you to review (example below). This profile will include their experience, education, babysitting rate, and more information about them. If you confirm the sitter is a good fit for you, we'll share their contact info, and you can take it from there!
